These wedges of soap are made with the same attention to herbal and aromatherapy benefits that we put in our skin care products. Shampoo bars are made with the same cold process technique as our natural soaps, but we have added castor, avocado, and jojoba oils to begin with. Castor oil is very moisturizing and provides a rich lather. Avocado oil is highly therapeutic, penetrates the hair and provides nutrients. Jojoba oil gets in to hair follicles and moisturizes the scalp.

So, just lather up your hands or rub the bar directly on your hair. You will have an instant, thick lather. Your hair will be squeaky clean without the use of chemicals or detergents. If you rinse your hair well following the use of these shampoo bars, we think you will not need conditioner.

We are currently offering 8 basic shampoo rounds. The round shapes are to help distinguish these shampoo bars from the regular natural soap, and we believe they fit well in the palm of your hand. Feel free to cut in half and share! We found that the shampoo rounds last at least 50 shampoos, based on average hair length and usage.

Bar In addition to the oils listed above, we have used infused chamomile oil, which has healing properties and borage oil, which is high in essential fatty acids. Our bodies do not produce fatty acids, but they are essential to the health of our skin and hair, so we must provide them through our diet or skin/hair products. Hazelnut oil is also added, providing wonderful moisturizing properties. Elemi, mandarin, geranium, sweet orange, and lemongrass essential oils combine to create a very pleasant fragrance. Coconut gives your hair extra shine. This is a perfect combination of aromatherapy benefits to complement normal to oily hair. |

Shampoo Bar This shampoo is for those of us with normal hair that has been subjected to the occasional perm, coloring, or the natural drying that occurs with aging. In addition to the oils mentioned above, we use borage, evening primrose, and Meadowfoam seed oils. Borage and evening primrose oils provide essential fatty acids. These oils are easily absorbed and help with immune system function to fight infection and inflammation. Meadowfoam seed oil adds shine and moisturizing to the hair and scalp. Patchouli, lavender, and sandalwood essential oils with rose fragrance oil provide a pleasantly scented shampoo. |

Shampoo Bar In addition to oils mentioned above, this pale green soap wedge contains neem oil. Neem oil has antiseptic properties and is used to treat dandruff, oily skin, and skin diseases. Infused calendula oil aids in the healing process, and is combined with eucalyptus, teatree, and lavender essential oils, which also have excellenct healing properties and will aid in the reduction of excess hair oils. This shampoo can also be used on normal hair and is a favorite around our house! |

| Hair Treatment Bar Not exactly a conditioner, but close...this bar is for nourishing and replenishing natural oils that get stripped from our hair due to dry weather, coloring treatments, chlorine, or excessive washing. The bars contain lecithin, which is the main ingredient in many hair conditioners; and other natural vegetable oils that provide vitamins, fatty acids, and minerals our hair and scalp need. Ground figs are added for additional nourishing and moisturizing properties. This is bound together with a neutral pH melt and pour glycerin soap so that all excess oils your hair does not need are cleansed away with rinsing. To use, shampoo hair normally and rinse; rub hair thoroughly with the hair treatment bar. For best results, let sit for several minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
